a living manifesto

a living manifesto

it is difficult to exist at all, let alone in a capitalist society. i believe we have all been numbed in more ways than we will be able to perceive in this one lifetime.

that's the paradoxical beauty of it.

we have the ability now, and at every present moment, to steer the course toward a different future, one we wish we had been born into. it is up to us to actionably choose who we want to be, what we will stand up for, and what we will work towards.

being apathetic doesn't work when 'the norm' and further 'success' in our society means suffering for another.

we must stop all systems of modern day colonization and radically love ourselves and each other back toward liberation.

this is Earth for fuck's sake, there are more than enough resources to go around, but there aren't enough resources to beat each other with, to use against each other, or to manipulate each other with.

nobody should have to steal toothpaste in order to brush your teeth but i have. nobody should have to crowd fund on social media in order to survive but i see it daily.

even the simple truth that barking dogs in the suburbs are stressed, bored, and neglected because we are all gone 40+ hours a week, there is no way to meet all of their physical and intellectual needs without inconsistence and casual neglect. now imagine the reality we are having our children live through in a society such as this.

remain curious rather than judge, and stay open to seeing the connections for yourself.
